I'm equal parts embarrassed and proud to say he dressed himself. 

I may have bought it all for him, but he put it together. I was tempted to give him a gold star but realised it would ruin his outfit.

His only request while I was taking his photo was we took one by his 'vessel' fair deal I guess. 

Are we there yet?

On the way to Mackay last week Charlie was cracking it so I got in the back and tried to keep him amused with pictures of himself, it worked for a little while. Before I felt the urge to vomit and got back in the front.

I had the front screen on so he could see himself. He is pointing at himself. Funny kid.

James wanted to join in, he was in the sun so I leant him my sunnies, doesn't he look fabulous! Ha

So while we were there I wanted to take the kids to a fun park at the marina. It seemed so different and weird being there. We took Jack when he was an only child. Soon he will be the eldest of four. Its such a cool huge park I think it might be our new birthday party park. I am so easily pleased after the slim pickings in our little town.

Charlie thought this thing was hilarious he was laughing so hard I think he snorted a few times.

I'm so excited to be moved already so we can do fun exciting things more often.

Ah Kismas!

Remember a few weeks ago I said I'd show you our Christmas card once everyone had received them? Well looks like they are floating down the Fitzroy river in Rockhampton. Its been three weeks since they were posted and they haven't turned up. I don't think its going to be a Christmas miracle, so I'll just show you.

This is my favorite photo of all the pictures we had taken back in November. After all this crazy flooding calms down I'm going to get it blow up and put on a canvas.

This is the end result after I played with picnik a little. This year I'll have to post them before December starts.

Photos Baby!

How funny is this picture. After fourteen months we finally have some family photos of the five of us. Nice photos of the five of us. One of my lovely playgroup mummas is starting up her own business as a photographer and I think she's amazing. She tried to convince me to let her do it for free. Michael and I told her we don't roll thay way.

Anyway will show you the nice one's after I post out my christmas cards (yes I realise I'm leaving it very late!)

Tomorrow maybe it's time to show the world our black christmas tree.

A little freaky but very very cool...

So today I was going to blog about our new sand pit. But I have a house full of sickness. So no one is going to play in the sand pit. I have three asleep and one watching a movie. Yep even my hubby is sick. I can't say I'm so well either.

Anyway!

Not a bad way to spend a long weekend.

Charlie is loving outside more and more everyday, and I love to watch him learn what things are. I love this face. Giving the plant the evil eye because it dared to touch his arm. Bad plant.

Best big brother ever.

We had the best weekend ever, it even stretched til Tuesday. Jack was poorly (and is now on antibiotics) so had a few days off school, but that didn't stop us having a really nice quiet long weekend. 

I am so in love with my camera, I still haven't got it figured out (hence the blurry photos) but I'm figuring it out, and loving taking loads of silly photos. 

Oh Brother..

This morning I was in a bad mood (I'm talking epic bad mood) so to cheer myself up I took the boys shirts off layed out a white blanket and took some pictures of my two little boys, instantly made me smile, didn't lift the bad mood but there was still hot water running out of my water heater all over the front lawn so I forgave myself.

I did the same thing with Jack and James when James was 4 months old so Jack had just turned 2, same blanket as well. Funny to see Charlie and James doing the same thing they look so similar but as Charlie gets older he doesn't look like James which is weird.

In just over a week my baby turns 1 and its exciting to see him develop and show us his big cheeky personality. I'm sad that its an era over. I will never again be so pregnant I can barely move, I will never again get brand new newborn cuddles. But I'm ok with it. Having three boisterous boys is wonderful and although I was devastated when I found out we were having ANOTHER boy, I'm so glad he's here and wouldn't change him for the world.

I'm not just angry..

I'm disappointed as well.

We got our school photo's back today, when I say we I mean Jack, but you know what I mean.

The teachers assistant in Jack's class said he smiled really well for photo's so I was looking forward to getting them. What I was not expecting was to see his top button done up ??

I have never ever done up any of his top buttons on his school shirts or any other shirts, it is nerdy, looks silly and I hate it.

I am 100% sure I did not do up his top button on photo day but here we are with terrible first school photos.

I am so cranky right now! 

I know it's not really an important thing in the grand scheme of things, but your first school photo is something that gets brought out over and over again and he has awesome hair, nice smile (apart from the bad tooth), no food on his face, BUT HIS TOP BUTTON IS DONE UP!!

All the kids in his class have their top buttons done up as well, but this does not make me feel any better.

Here's two of him just so you can appreciate the button. I just rang Michael to tell him the bad news, he seems to think I'm over reacting. I think he's under reacting (if it's not a word it should be)

Now if you excuse me I'm off to do some school shirt altering.

So I decided to try again to get a decent photo of the three of them.

Attempt No.1. James is trying to destroy his face~fail.

Attempt No.2. Jack is being a pirate~fail.

Attempt No.3. My fault, blurry~fail.

Attempt No.4. Jack is telling me something~fail.

Attempt No.5. Charlie is pulling the boys hair~fail.

Attempt No.6. James is trying to squint his eyes away~fail. 

So to stop tormenting myself and the boys by placing them for photos I devised a much easier way of doing it.

No favorites but....

Its hard not to take so many photo's of my gorgeous little man, its not that I don't love the older boys they are old enough to move away and have had years of me trying to take a billion photos of them. They are probably just so sick of me with the camera!

So while Charlie is still little before he can escape from me I will be as snap happy as possible!
