Bath O'clock

I need someone to teach me how to get three kids to look at me all at one time (Dani I'm looking at you)

I attempted to take a few pics of the boys yesterday while they were all outside it was such a nice day and they were all clean, I can't ask for much more than that, but every time a bird chirped I lost Charlie and every time a truck went past I lost James. Jack was in 'a mood' so he was no help at all so I have about 10 photos of silly faces and the sides of heads. Sigh.
So I attempted again in the bath.

No idea what James was looking at but it was obviously pretty interesting.

This one doesn't look to bad until you look at James trying to change nationality.

When all else fails Charlie will always give me a good shot.

Were going on a bear hunt

On Monday Michael and I took the little boys to our favorite local spot, the national park about 40kms from our little town.
We decided to try a walking track we hadn't been down before, not a great idea when you have a skirt and cowboy boots on, did I think of that? No not really!

The track ended up being 2kms down to a waterfall and then 2 very long kms back to the top.

James was such a trooper he started to get tired and wanted to be picked up about 100 meters from the car, I said were almost there so he just walked on! Crazy kid, I would have gotten someone to carry me if I could!

So James decided early on that he was a bear looking for a cave, Daddy was an elephant, Mummy was a giraffe and Charlie was a koala. He spent the entire trip looking for caves to sleep in and found quite a few that looked like they would be great for sleeping in for 5 months of the year(Michael started explaining hibernation to a 3yr old obviously)

Although this was defiantly the best. I may or may not have encouraged him to go off the track so I could take a picture of him being a bear.

I may or may not have encouraged Michael to go with him also.

See why Charlie is a koala?

Michael was kind enough to take Charlie on the way back up, he is a heavy kid and I do not have the back to be carrying him around anymore!

All in all was a good way to spend a day, and I had two sleeping kids all the way home.

Polly Dolly

Is it just me or does playing Polly dolly with Dani make you want to shop? I have this desire to buy so much stuff on a Thursday! Lucky Thursday is pay day!

So this week is rainy days.

I love a rainy day but after a few days with no sunshine everyone gets cranky and sad so what better to cheer you up than a fun outfit matched with big jewellery and awesome rain gear. The only grown up woman shoes that can look like shoes for little girls and get away with it!

I chose a pretty simple outfit 3/4 length jeans and a plain coloured top, no jacket as it doesn't really get cold here when it rains. Beautiful headband to make any wet hair look good and some gorgeous bracelets that I want want want! Lips are the only make up I wear daily, I occasionally take time to put face powder, rouge and mascara on, but not on a rainy day. The gumboots are so cute and not 100% pink believe it or not! Love that umbrella, I had to stop myself from buying ridiculous gumboots and umbrellas for the boys while I was polyvoring!

Head over to Dani's to play along or check out everyone's rainy day creations.

My Place & Yours

I have missed so many weeks of my place & yours I almost forgot how much fun it is!
last week I managed to take my photos but didn't get to blog about it. Til Monday. Of course to late by then!

Anyway this weeks is: Three things you do everyday. I had a hard time sorting through the things I do everyday. A lot were very boring and I almost had three things that were all housework!
This is the three I definatly do everyday.

After 12 weeks of Dani's polly dolly challenge I have never finished any in one sitting, today included!

So this week's theme is tea party.

I love the idea of having a high tea, with beautiful china, dainty snacks, elegant outfits, talking about glamorous things, not babies or vomit or washing.

I chose a pretty cardigan, pink of course, my idea of a beautiful tea party would be lots of pink frills and fluff.
Gorgeous high waisted skirt.
Love those shoes! They are even called tea party.
Funky tea party necklace and pearl studs.
Cumfy cushions to sit on one is even called fluff how perfect!

SOLD!!!

Yes I have finally after 4 years of talkinhg about it, joined the ranks of eBay sellers. I started with maternity clothes I no longer wear and really will probably never wear again. I have now become obsessed with checking my auctions to see what the bids are at, and how many people are watching.
What do you have that you would like to sell??

Polly Dolly

What would you were on a tropical holiday?

Our polly dolly theme from Danimezza this week is right up my ally. I've been plannng Michael's 30th and have started thinking about my own (still a few years away yet) and a holiday to a tropical island with just my hubby for a few days seems to keep popping back to the top of the list. We only had one holiday together before becoming parents and that was when we got engaged, in November that would be six years ago!

Cocktails by the pool, or in the pool, swimming, snorkelling, day spa-ing, afternoon naps, reading grown up books without interuption, staying out all night dancing, sleeping in, eating out at restaurants for as long as we like, drinking far too much champagne. Sigh. Four years and counting, come on 30!

I plan to be much thinner by the time I'm 30 so cute little white shorts wont look horrendous on me. Funky thongs that would be ok on the beach or strolling through the shops. Big hat and sunnies so we can pretend to be celebrities in disguise. Love love love this gorgeous top and a starry beach bag to be filled with my own things, no nappies wipes snacks or bottles, Ipod so I can listen to my grown up music with no wiggles songs interupting me. Loads of books that I might get a chance to read and finish before the holiday ends. Cocktails, lots and lots of cocktails. The bigger and more fun looking the better.
Thanks Danielle that was a nice disruption to my boring day!

Polly Dolly

As soon as I read Danimezza's polly dolly theme, create an outfit for ONE of the girls from SATC who you believe reflects your own sense of self and/or style, one look came straight to mind.

In series 6 when Charlotte and Harry lose a baby and she doesn't want to go to Brady's first birthday. She arrives in a beautiful Elizabeth Taylor inspired outfit. It is such a Charlotte moment and a perfect outfit for her.
I was always Charlotte, the hopeless romantic. In fact for the first six months after I met Michael he thought my name was Charlotte (sorry hun!) I'm probably a bit more practical like Miranda, and I admit I was definatly like Samantha for a few years while I was single!

I love this polly dolly I think its my favorite ever. Such a stunning dress, Monolo Blahnicks(of course), clutch purse, Chanel No.5 perfume, great sunglasses and a head band. If only I had the money and time and reason to wear such a beautiful outfit!
Thanks Danielle for such a fun way to spend a few hours xx
