Well I won't lie, life with four is crazy and by the time I have tucked the last boy into bed all I want to do is crawl into bed myself so my blog (and my husband) are being extremely ignored.
I'm sure once William gets into a routine I'll be back in the blogging swing but for now it's very hit and miss and I'm missing it, and I miss having time to just breathe.
Michael has just started a new job and for a whole month he's away from Monday to Friday which leaves me with four kids all by myself. it's been pretty exhausting and to add to it my James turns five on Wednesday so I have cakes to make presents to wrap and a party to organise. A mum from school was shocked when I gave her her invite she asked me if I was a sucker for punishment throwing a party when I'm not sleeping through the night (or during the day for that matter). I figure if he was an only child I would still be giving him a party so just because there are four of them doesn't mean they should miss out, right?
Gorgeous new son, gorgeous new blog, husband working away, three other busy boys to take care of.

ReplyDeleteIt's great having four kids close together in age and throwing birthday parties into the mix is not such a big deal... Eventually.. Hope it goes well ;)
Thank you! Party was a huge success and I didn't go overboard with it so it wasn't a lot of hard work really.
