Fashion Fun

I've started playing around with my wardrobe and adding a few more things to it and just having fun with it, this is my outfit from Friday, apart from the shoes I've had the rest for a while. Nothing extreme for school drop off, shopping and a doctors visit but it was easy to feed in, easy to shop in and I felt super cute with those pink shoes on.
I might have to do this more often!

I swore I'd never...

...but here I am, the parent of a child with crocs.
Damn it.

After losing yet another thong, (because it's never a pair in our house only ever one at a time) we went to buy three new sets of thongs for the boys, and then Michael saw the crocs. He decided they would be good fishing shoes and after Jack scrapped his toes riding his bike last week I said they can wear them for riding bikes as well. But if I see them on their feet when we leave the house there will be trouble. To make matters worse they wanted matching ones. My children are so daggy.

What is something you do as a parent that you swore you'd never?

31 Photo's in 31 Days~Day 2

Check out these beauties. I found them packed in a box. I bought them in 2007. I don't think I've worn them since 2007. I am a bad unpacker.

PUSH~Shoes

Check out my new shoes, they are so sparkly. I may wear them everyday.
This week's theme for PUSH is shoes, I love shoes but wear them out/lose them often so I tend to buy cheap nasty shoes. These babies were from Target reduced to $9. I can't really complain when they fall apart can I?

Head on over to Hello Owl to play along and see some other shoes!

Boot Shopping

Since my boot disaster I have been on the hunt for a new pair. There are a lot of ugly ugly boots out there. I have found a few I'd love to have but really I just want my old boots back in a better condition. Sigh. I'll get there.
So in the meantime check out these.
Nocona Sierra Madre Square-Toe Cowboy Boots - New Zealand Lamb (For Women)

Love these boots, sadly they are $146.53 I wont be buying them but if you want to go  Here

These are free postage but they are still $247.58. Want them?

I haven't decided if these are cool or ugly? Either way I'm not buying them. Tell me what do you think of these?

I'll be sure to let you know when/if I find an awesome pair. Wish me luck!

Polly Dolly

little blck dress

Polly Dolly what a good way to spend an afternoon. I have just put about $5000 on my imaginary credit card. It's days like this I am torn about having a credit card. Thank heavens I don't my goodness I would have bought so much unnecessary stuff by now. But bugger it I would like to go buy a whole bunch of crazy stuff. Its called retail therapy for a reason is it not?

This week is week no.52 of polly dolly, that's right a whole year we have been playing with clothes and imaginary credit cards. Who thought when Dani started this game where it would take her, now she's basically a celebrity. An awesome one at that.

So the little black dress in honour of one whole year of dressing our dollies. I had seven black dresses at one stage, that's a hard decision to make when you have no price tags or size tags. I narrowed it down to this one. I would never even think of picking this dress up I think that's why I love it so. Its nothing I would usually wear. I love the nude shoes and I have it on good authority from Melissa at Suger Coat It that nudes are very in this season. Thanks hun.
That clutch bag was triple the price of the dress I love it, can you imagine getting in a fight with that bag? You would do some serious damage! Smoking hot eyes and lips and some kick ass bangles. Those earrings scare me, fierce is the only word I have to describe them!.
If you love the idea of playing with an imaginary credit card and haven't played yet, your missing out head over to see Danielle and play along!

boot heaven

\

My beloved boots that I bought brand new off ebay for just $6 have finally after 5 years, told me they have had enough and would like to go to boot heaven. I was unaware how sick they were until I put them through a small puddle and my sock was instantly soggy. Until I popped them on the front step to take one last photo I was in denial of how dodgy they were looking, no wonder my feet hurt after I wore them the heel had basically worn away.
So now I'm on the hunt for another pair, I can't make it through a whole cold season without a kick ass pair of boots. I wonder if I can find another brand new pair for six bucks. Me thinks I am dreaming!

Rain Rain...

...Go away.
Were having a seriously wet week.
This morning Jack still has a yucky looking eye so for the forth day in a row he's stuck at home with me. Poor kid.
Today is one of James' Kindy days so instead of driving him the 2 blocks we decided to walk in the rain.
I have fond memories of going for walks in the rain at their age. Now as an adult I realise my mum didn't drive so if we were going somewhere we would have walked. At the time it seemed like a lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Yes I dressed my children in shorts and gumboots. Its raining but its still Queensland.

These are all the boots I found in our shoe box, Charlie was already wearng his blue gumboots. Seriously just because your a boy doesn't mean you must wear blue.
My aim for this winter is to not buy them any more blue shoes/clothes. Five pairs of blue gumboots but only three children. I am hopeless.
