How to save ten dollars on Pavlova.

Go shopping when your in a bad mood.

Today wasn't a good day in our house, William didn't really want to sleep last night or today for that matter, it's been a yucky raining humid week and to top it off when I picked up the boys from school James teacher wanted to talk to me.
I was crabby when we ducked into Woolies on the way home to get a few things and thought maybe a cake or something for afternoon tea would put us all in a better mood. I grabbed a pavlova.
$4.98 not bad for afternoon tea. When we got to the checkout the pavlova scanned at $15.98. Now usually I am extra nice to people in customer service after doing my time in customer service but today I'd just had enough. I may or may not have had a few choice words to say and when the bakery man returned with the correct price I wasn't so nice to him either. Well because someone had put the pavlovas in the wrong place I walked out with a pavlova and I only paid $4.98, and you know what I felt better.

Blegh..

So were still in sick land and looks like we will be for a few more days.
Hopefully another trip to the doctors today will help. I won't be leaving without a antibiotic script for Jack and Michael if no one else. I will turn on the crazy mother if need be.

Yesterday after telling me he didn't want an afternoon sleep Jack passed out on the lounge room floor where we have been camping out since Saturday. We've got the mattress from our floor and a few lounge cushions and we've watched far too much TV but we all feel like a bus has hit so I don't really mind. I'm so over being sick!

Poor boy was so hot I was replacing the face washer every half an hour in a vein attempt to get his temperature down. He was so out of it he didn't even notice it was there.

Poor boy check out the bags under his eyes.

The life of the youngest child

My poor Charlie Bear suffers being the youngest.
My life can't revolve around his nap times as much as I would like it too. Sometimes we just have to leave the house half way through his nap or just before he's due for a nap.
So I have all these pics of the poor thing napping as well as he can in the pram.

Face completely smooshed into the pram,I moved him after I took this pic.

Such a little cutie pie.

Sleep Baby Sleep

Please don't yell at me, I know this is NOT what the SIDS awareness people recommend, but I'm  not sure what else to do with him!

He is put in his cot, feet at the bottom on his back nothing in the cot etc etc, but this is how I find him. Of a night Michael rolls him back over before he goes to bed but during the day I leave him like this. All my boys slept like this (Michael and I sleep on our bellies, but not quite like this)

I'm sure thats got to be uncomfortable.

So comfortable, who am I to mess with him?
